If you are in Split don't think of staying anywhere else We arrived before lunchtime with our flight from the UK and our room was ready. The check in process was efficient - the 2 guys behind reception are great - and we were soon in our room on the ground floor - 103. The hotel is only a few minutes from everywhere you may want to go in Split so an ideal location. The room was lovely - exposed stone on the walls and wooden the flooring with plenty of space for storage. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. Everything so was so clean. Our room didn't seem to get that hot but there was a AC unit to give it a good temperature. Breakfast was a few metres down the corridor - good choice of the usual continental breakfast and you could order eggs to be cooked as well. We sat in the outdoor area to eat which was great. wifi worked extremely well in the room and whilst eating so really pleased about that. We had lots of advice from the reception team on where to go to visit and eat - they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Difficult to say any negative about Azur Palace so I won't - please go!

What a find! Everything about the Azur Palace is excellent...the staff (all of them), the rooms (high spec and spacious), the location (right in the centre with parking) and the breakfast (the four of us loved this). This is a contemporary and fashionable establishment which is superb value for money. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for 3 nights, 1 at the start of our holiday and 2 at the end. Both visits were excellent, both of the young guys on the desk are super helpful. We were welcomed with a cherry brandy - lovely!. Hotel rooms are perfect and it's so quiet and chilled out and clean. Whoever designed this place is super cool. Breakfast was great too! Would definitely recommend.

Me and my husband stayed at Azur Palace for a couple of nights in July 2015. This hotel exceeded our expectations. A small family run hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice interior design! Our room was lovely. I would definitely chose this hotel again if we come back.

Traveling with a group of four adults and two teenagers, we all loved Azur Palace and wished we had had one more night. (Don't be thrown off by the word 'palace' -- it's a remodeled distillery that has preserved the old while building a hip and modern facility.) The rooms are spacious, the linens lovely and the bathrooms large and contemporary. A large communal outdoor terrace was the perfect place to enjoy a drink and breakfast. But what really made the place special was the service. Ivan at the front desk had great recommendations for everything --from dinner to a local microbrew pub around the corner. The breakfast was terrific -- lots of interesting, homemade items. The location is great for sightseeing -- close to the old city, but not in the middle. It's a little hard to find, tucked down a side street without a large sign.

My wife and I could only stay in Split for 2 days; August 5th and 6th. We plan to return to Split for a week, in part because this little hotel is so great. The owner is a builder/developer, built over 200 apartments and clearly paid immense attention to his 3+ month old total hotel renovation. Bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, dining room are all first class. Check out the old row boat mounted on the top of the common dinning room. Igor the owner and his lovely wife are hands on managers but have also attracted a great staff. Enjoyed talking Croatian economics with Igor and the front desk staff Ivo, etc. Breakfast is clearly one of the best of any B&B. I and others strongly recommend the eggs over easy however they also do omelets. It is only a 3 or 4 minute walk to the Palace and I am not sure I would want to be any closer. Entrance is on a narrow back street and thus quiet. We will be back. Ron & Diane.

Surprise in the center of the Split. Old hotel totally renovated and with great taste of decoration. Personnel on reception (guy) and on the breakfast was stunning. Really helpful and always smiling. Breakfast is rich and with great quality of food. Also, girl ask you whatever you want to eat so it was great experience. Parking is a little bit hard to find but receptionist help you to find it and to park. It is 3 minutes far from city center so it is great to park there and walk all the time Wifi is great.

As soon as we arrived at Azur, the man on the desk gave us a map and took time to highlight some great places to eat in Split (something you don't normally get in chain hotels unless you keep asking). He then showed us to our room and told us where everything was. Lovely, modern and clean. Breakfast was great. The location is also very good too, with just a short walk into town. We only stayed for one night but will definitely be back. The staff were all so lovely, from the cleaner to both men and woman who we saw around the hotel. Worth every penny, can't wait to return!!

Loved this place. Perfectly located just outside the old town walls. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only improvement could be the breakfast and very simple things such as an iron and tissue box in the room. Would not hesitate to stay here again if i made it back to Split.

We stayed at Azur for 3nights and we could not fault anything. Comfy beds, great location, in the heart of Split. Rooms were clean and great air-con. Bathrooms were big and very clean. Front counter staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would recommend to all.

Great hotel! Stayed for one night on way to Hvar and then another night at the end of our holiday. From the moment we entered the hotel quite late on our first night we were made to feel very welcome and offered coffee or cherry schnapps. The hotel is in a converted distillery which has been tastefully renovated. Our room was really nice - very modern decor and good en-suite. Breakfast offered a good choice with eggs cooked to order. There is also a small terrace outside with lots of flowers and plants. The hotel is really close to all the main attractions in Split and is only about a 15 minute walk to the bus station and ferry terminal. All the staff were very friendly especially Ivan at reception who had a great sense of humour! If you are looking for a small friendly hotel in the centre of Split we would have no hesitation in recommending the Azur Palace.

Spent 5 nights at the Azur and highly recommend the hotel. Beautifully renovated old brandy factory at the top end of the old town with fantastic friendly service. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and beautifully finished. Wifi works a treat and location is close to everything in the old town. Highly recommend if you want modern convenience with a smile.

We booked this the morning of our visit to Split. The city is a bit confusing for a newbie to the city, and we needed to call the hotel to get directions. Igor was very helpful and met us out on the street and guided us to the hotel. It is very hard to find the hotel, but when we got there, it was like a tiny little oasis in the middle of a big city. The lobby and rooms are freshly remodeled. Very interesting layout in our suite with a lift upstairs. The kids loved this. Igor gave us a great review of the hotel and the city and we were not disappointed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. The breakfast was small but wonderful. And the proximity to the old city is perfect.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel, perfect location and great breakfast - couldn't ask for more! Owner was on hand to help with anything. So close to all the main sites and waterfront, as well as restaurants but still very quiet at night.

Monique
